Partly recorded way back in 1990 in Tim's bedroom with an 8-Track, the rest is recorded at the "Honeycomb Hideout" in the fall and winter of 1994 with Swinkle Sue, Chicken Caesar Salad, Copenhagen, and Double Mochas for emotional support.

This album is dedicated to the memory of Matthew Evans and Tim Goddard.

2024 notes by Beach: Patrick Goddard's Chew was one of the first to be made available for download on the Internet in 1994 through ARTnet.org and IUMA.com. It's a folk punk classic infused with angst, loss, sarcasm, and the disgruntled cynicism of being 22 and living in San Francisco in the early 1990s.

Sue sang back-up on "Through the Haze"
